WELCOME from the president
What an honor to represent an organization that has inspired and generously supported thousands of youth exhibitors over the past four decades. The Madison County Fair & Rodeo has evolved into a welcoming and cherished place for our community to gather and celebrate not only youth projects, but the dedication of competitive cowboys, a history enriched with agriculture, and a legacy we can all be proud to embody.
On behalf of the Madison County Fair & Rodeo, we hope this year brings you positive experiences, opportunities for growth, and a sense of accomplishment in the efforts you contribute as an exhibitor, parent, advisor, supporter, or dedicated member of the MCFA fan club. It takes us all to make this organization successful. This is more than a food show, art show, livestock show, or rodeo…this is a combination of memories created from endless hours spent at the barn, starting over when recipes fail, feeling overwhelming excitement when measurements all come together, and the lifelong connections made when hardworking ag-kids all spend time together. The blood, sweat, tears, and expense is all worth it when the impact of this experience becomes visible.
As you engage in friendly competition, remember, while winning is fun, this experience is about showcasing the results of your commitment to the livestock you care for, the art you create, the projects you build, and the food you prepare. Whether this is your first show or one of many, you are representing the heart of agriculture and paving the way for future generations. Advocate not for yourself, but for the industry we all know and love.
